This brand new series of twelve
videotapes containing over four hours of footage introduces the
collision repair student to modern automotive refinishing
techniques.
The tapes feature both live
action and graphical images to visually demonstrate the
vehicle preparation, surface preparation, masking, blocking
and cleaning, sealing and primers, painting, spray techniques,
detailing and defect identification.
The contents of theses tapes have been correlated to cover NATEF's
Painting and Refinishing tasks as thoroughly as possible.
These tapes were created by
educators and were shot on location in a community college;
the actors in the tapes are actual collision repair teachers
and students.
Each tape is broken into two
ten minute long parts and is designed to focus on a specific
topic and to fit into classroom presentations effectively.
These tapes are accompanied by
an instructor's guide containing pre- and post-tests, learning
objectives, students review notes, a glossary of terms, and
answer key for each tape.
